Plant Initiatives Lead
Job Description
Prepare the short-term production plan and material requirements plan in order to fulfil all finished goods demand and assure optimal stock of finished goods and pack materials, utilizing effectively the plant`s manufacturing capacity and resources. Drive for Replenishment and Planning targets achievement. Responsible for delivering product and packaging change within the Kostinbrod coffee manufacturing facility for the factory’s local and international customer base.
- Prepare the short-term production plan in SAP APO according to FG demand from the MSU clients. Keep close contact and communication with the central planning team and local demand planners
- Schedule the weekly production orders according to line capacity and pack materials availability. Communicate the plan with the production team leaders
- Prepare and send purchase orders for packaging materials to external suppliers and track the open quantities and in-transit stocks, avoiding materials shortage. Communication with central procurement department and external suppliers
- Weekly SAP reporting
- Work with R&D, Marketing and Sales Units (MSU’s), Supply Chain to ensure that product/pack changes for the Factory’s Customers are delivered to agreed time, cost and quality targets
Qualifications
- Good knowledge of production process organization
- Analytical and communication skills
- Excellent computer literacy
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in production/planning/logistics
- Fluent English knowledge
- Knowledge of manufacturing systems (SAP, SAP APO)
- Knowledge of ISO standards - 9001, 14001
